The Secret Question You Need to Ask For Your Self Worth?

I had an insight last week after my sister made a random comment. It’s one of those moments when there are so many memories presented and ahaaa moments, that I was really curious about things. I thought to myself, “After all these years, I have been confused about my self worth, subconsciously or consciously.” Did I miss the chat about self worth somewhere or am I just a slow learner that needs to learn by experience? Or were the talks just about self esteem, not self worth?

So, what is Self Worth
Don’t confuse Self Worth with Self Esteem….the two are completely different. I believe self worth builds self esteem. My definition is – the quality of being worthy or something being worthy for oneself, the sense of one’s own value or worth as a human being.

After the comment from my sister. I was excited and then wondered what route my life would have taken had I asked myself THE QUESTION or presented this statement at any given time. I’m sure it would have been extremely different, that’s for sure, and then again, maybe not. All was and is perfect just the way it is.

Self worth comes in all shapes and sizes: the food we eat, our relationships with others, our relationship with ourselves, our environment in which we live, the quality of life we live, our health, choices of occupation and the list can go on and on. Can you add more?

So, are you wondering what the question is?
Ok, here it is and using a very common situation – the relationship with a significant other.

Am I worthy of being with this person? NO WAY……STOP, that’s not the question to ask!
Is this person worthy of being with me?
That’s the question I will be asking myself with everything from now on. It’s not coming from a place of being better than anyone or too good to do a particular job. My experience tells me, by asking this question, I am wanting what will serve and grow my own spirit, rather than keep it low, being undeserving and unevolving.

Here are a few benefits, just by asking yourself this question and making choices that are serving –

Strong boundaries are created
Work conditions can be better
More lightness
More happiness
More love
More self love
Empowerment
Gratitude
Self belief
More energy
Space for creativity
Better health
Better sleep
Deeper Connections with self and others

So, next time you come to a situation that requires a decision, ask yourself, “Is this ………..worthy of me?”

With love, health and happiness

HOT TIP #4 Take a Stand! Make a Choice!

Australia is in the middle of the biggest chronic disease epidemic in human history. People have never been more unhealthy and more disease prone. Two thirds of our population are now overweight. Diabetes is 9 times more prevalent than it was 30 years ago! Heart disease is responsible for 20% of all deaths each year. These chronic diseases reflect what we eat, how we use our bodies and reflect the stress we cope with in our day to day lives.

Many Australians find themselves too overweight, weak, tired and apathetic to do anything about improving their health. This unhealthy state has become the status quo, in other words it is accepted in our society. Unfortunately, many people die when they experience their first health event and don’t receive that wakeup call, to radically change their lifestyle.

It is interesting to note that in native cultures, none of these modern day health issues occur. We are no longer faced with the same physical and survival challenges of the past and whilst this may be a good thing on the one hand, we are becoming more and more unhealthy, due to our lack of awareness about our sedentary lifestyle and the harm that is caused by the foods we choose to eat.

Fortunately, we have a choice about how we live our lives from this point on. We all have the capacity, no matter how unhealthy we are to get back to feeling strong, resilient, energised, motivated and living life with vitality. It does take education, courage, commitment and determination.

Our intention is to educate, influence and challenge beliefs in order to bring health and wellbeing into their lives. In our society today, are some widespread beliefs that are simply keeping the population sick, unhealthy and lacking in vitality. Being open to changing habits will allow you to make informed choices and take control of your own health, bringing back a sense of wellbeing to those who are fed up with the way they feel.

We look forward to sharing some healthy life tips over the coming weeks and months while we journey together towards living a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Cheers to AMAZING Health!

Hot Tip #3 for LIVING a LIFE of WELLBEING, HAPPINESS, CONTENTMENT AND PEACE!

A long-term, high fat and sugar diet will lead to illness/dis-ease such as obesity and diabetes, amongst a number of other manifestations.

Question, if your diet is high in fat and sugar, what story/emotions are you replacing with food?

A change in mindset, moving well and eating foods that promote healthy bodies will create a healthy life. Eating more unprocessed foods such as vegies, fruits, nuts and seeds and being creative with juicing fruits and veges, you will start noticing changes in your body. When was the last time you were complimented on your glowing skin, clear eyes, feeling energetic and motivated to LIVE life?

Speaking of energy levels, are you a 3 meals a day plus perhaps, morning and afternoon tea type of person or a grazer? Don’t hit the wall by filling yourself up, move well, have smaller meals, fantastic juices and superfood smoothies.

Before you put something in your mouth, ask yourself, “Has this been loved and nurtured?”

To you with health and super wellbeing!
Kim
